Madeline McAllister
Maddy is an Australian maritime archaeologist with a career spanning over a decade. She grew up on the Western Australian coast, spending summers exploring her local beaches before traveling Australia to study and work. Her research interests include historic shipwrecks and underwater archaeology in Australasia and she can’t help but exude passion through her tales of shipwrecks and stories of amazing discoveries. Maddy’s research currently focuses on mystery shipwrecks of the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea, driven in understanding how wooden shipwrecks form on reef environments and finding clues to their identity.
